The Inspiration

Julie McElroy was born with Cerebral Palsy (CP), it has given her mobility problems and also have a speech and hearing impairment. While undertaking my Dissertation at University it took me in a different direction of looking at Assistive Technologies. Combining my IT knowledge with technologies passion gave me that niche to advance my knowledge in a specialised field where I am constantly using assistive technologies to live my life daily. However more recently Julie has required the most sophisticated technologies to lead an active independent life. Now she has the passion to ensure others receive technologies to lead an independent life.
